"This summer I did an artist residency in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland. It’s a small town on the easternmost tip of North America, known as the “first to see the sun.” While Newfoundland is often rainy, this view was captured on a bright, sunny day in July. Sunlight reflects off of small houses and parked cars, showing a joyful view of a slice of this peaceful town."
